Pinning the trends with Pinterest

2025
Creative Production

Overview

Pinterest is a global visual platform that helps people discover ideas, create moodboards, and gather inspiration – from interior design projects and recipes to fashion looks and DIY creations. It’s a space where images spark action.

Aleph is an international technology and marketing company, operating in local markets through a network of experts and partnerships. It connects global brands with local audiences, supporting companies in establishing an effective digital presence.

Together, they decided to create an event. Ekstrakt was invited to organize an intimate gathering with industry leaders, focused on upcoming trends in communication and lifestyle.

The key goal was to showcase “Bold Trends 2025” through an engaging, experiential event that encourages interaction, reflection, and conversation. We created an environment that sparks dialogue – allowing guests to explore trends, test their application on the Pinterest platform, and simultaneously build relationships with the Aleph team. The event not only aimed to present trends but also to reflect the brands’ values: discovery, inspiration, and action – in Pinterest’s case, and flexibility, local expertise, and entrepreneurship – in Aleph’s context.

Execution

Ekstrakt Studio was responsible for the full production of the Pinterest event, with Aleph as a partner.
Our goal was to create a cohesive, immersive experience where form follows content.

As part of the project, we delivered:
- A creative interpretation of Pinterest trends across space, materials, and formats
- Scenography and venue arrangement (using installations and sensory materials)
- A make-up activation zone
- Design and implementation of visual identity (print, digital, signage)
- Event coverage in photo and video format
- Oversight of branding, audiovisual production, and event pacing
- Catering
- Event music
- Venue scouting

Result

Ekstrakt managed to create an environment for Pinterest that not only talked about trends – but made them truly tangible. Guests moved through zones inspired by specific themes from the Pinterest report, with each area serving as a prompt for conversation, exchanging perspectives, and building relationships.

The result? The gathering didn’t feel like a typical presentation.
It was like an open invitation into a world of creativity – exactly the kind that Pinterest promises to its users every day.
